Recent installation of the second Performa model screen at the Georgia Interventional Medicine in Atlanta – GA. This advanced shielding solution features large glass panels that replace outdated copper or steel panels, which often obstruct transparency and contribute to patient discomfort and claustrophobia—sometimes preventing the completion of diagnostic tests. Instead, this Italian-patented system allows patients to see outside the examination room and vice versa, reducing feelings of isolation. This cage ensures a 90 dB attenuation level of disturbances, achieved through two special shielding nets that, when coupled in a labyrinth joint, maintain both full visibility and optimal shielding performance.

What do patients feel when they enter the cage? “Before seeing the exam room, they think it’s a small room, but realizing it’s actually very spacious and the walls are transparent, they relax.”
Did the presence of PERFORMA contribute to the publicity of the clinic? “We primarily use this resonance for car accident victims, so it has become famous among doctors for its reliability.”

“No, the cage has never caused any problems, it works perfectly.”
Have there been any cases of claustrophobia?
“Only based on the part of the body being treated, however the presence of the side windows helps them calm down because they can see us radiologists and the outside environment.”
What do patients feel when they enter the cage?
“At first they seem a little agitated but when they see the transparent cage they realize the lack of separation between the control room and the examination room and willingly enter.”
Did the presence of PERFORMA contribute to the publicity of the clinic?
“Being a machine with little presence in the USA, it certainly fascinated many people who then spread the word”.

Installation of our new and patented, transparent and humanized Cabin type “Performa”® in the USA at a specialized facility in Roswell-Georgia with an Esaote S Scan.
The excellent collaboration with the Esaote USA facility allowed us, with all the limitations due to the current pandemic, to achieve a result that was highly appreciated by the customer.
